Every class comes with a certificate — and proof behind it

  • Enrollment letter (PDF) the minute you pay — so your officer knows you've started today.
  • Certificate of completion with your name, course, hours, dates, final test score, a certificate ID and a QR code. No extra fee to download it.
  • A public check page. Your officer enters the ID and your last name at /verify and sees the same hours and dates. A doctored PDF won't match.
  • A progress report you can download any time and send to your officer.

Hours that hold up

A certificate that says "8 hours" is only worth something if someone actually spent 8 hours. Our timer:

  • counts only active time — reading, watching or listening to the lesson video, doing exercises;
  • pauses after a few minutes without activity, and asks if you're still there;
  • logs every session on our server, so the hours on your certificate match a record;
  • never makes you sit and wait. If you read faster than the lesson's hour, you get extra practice scenarios, and that time counts too.

What you'll learn

The lessons follow the cognitive-behavioral approach used in SAMHSA's public anger management manual: notice the warning signs early, cool your body down, change the thought that fuels the anger, and say what you need without a fight. Each lesson has a short story, plain-English explanations, 2–3 exercises, a private journal prompt, and a 5-question quiz.

Lessons in the 16-hour class (shorter classes use the first ones):

  1. Understanding Anger: What It Is and What It Costs
  2. Know Your Triggers and Warning Signs
  3. Cool Down: The Anger Meter, Timeouts, and Relaxation
  4. Hot Thoughts, Cool Thoughts: Changing the Way You Think
  5. Say It Right: Assertive Communication
  6. Solving Conflicts Without Fighting
  7. Stress, Sleep, Substances, and Anger
  8. Taking Responsibility and Building Your Anger Control Plan
  9. Anger at Home: Partners, Family, and Parenting
  10. Anger at Work and in Public
  11. Road Rage and Online Conflict
  12. Empathy and Emotional Intelligence
  13. Resentment, Forgiveness, and Letting Go
  14. Shame, Guilt, and Your Past
  15. Mindfulness and Daily Self-Care
  16. Values, Goals, and Staying on Track

Made for a phone and a busy week

  • A short video explainer in every lesson. Animated, with captions; the timer counts watching it.
  • 8th-grade reading level. Short sentences, real-life examples, no jargon.
  • Stop any time. Your place and your hours are saved after every screen.
  • Unlimited retakes on quizzes and the final test. Your best score goes on the certificate.

We never ask for your case number

If your court wants a case number, court name or date of birth on the certificate, you type them into your own copy of the PDF, in your browser. They never reach our servers. We don't ask what happened.

If your court says no, you get your money back

If your court, judge or probation officer doesn't accept your certificate, we refund 100% of the course fee. Send us the written rejection and the official's contact details within 60 days of finishing. The class must match the course type and hours in your order.

Paperwork says "impulse control" or "decision making"?

That's a different class. See our Impulse Control & Decision Making class — same prices, same certificate features.

Court-ordered anger management, state by state

How anger management gets ordered, what hours courts tend to ask for, and what to check before you enroll.

Frequently asked questions

Are online anger management classes accepted by courts?

Many courts and probation departments accept online anger management classes. Ours are court-accepted in most jurisdictions, but your court or officer decides. Ask them before you buy. If they don't accept your certificate, you get a full refund.

Is this anger management class court approved?

There is no national or state list that "approves" online anger management classes, so no provider can honestly promise that. What matters is whether your court or officer accepts it. Ours is court-accepted in most jurisdictions, gives your officer a way to verify it online, and comes with a full refund if they don't accept it.

Do I get a certificate of completion?

Yes. When you pass the final test, you download a certificate with your name, the course, hours, dates, score, an ID and a QR code. It's included in the price.

How do I prove I enrolled before I finish?

Your enrollment letter PDF arrives the minute you pay. You can also download a progress report at any time.

How long do I have to finish?

Work at your own pace. If your court gave you a deadline, the dashboard shows how many hours you have left.

Can I take the class on my phone?

Yes. Every lesson works on a phone, and every lesson has a short animated video explainer with captions.

Is this therapy?

No. It's an educational course that teaches skills. It's not therapy, counseling or a clinical evaluation. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.

Is this a domestic violence or batterer intervention program?

No. If your order is for a Batterer Intervention Program (BIP) or a domestic violence program, this class is not a substitute. Those usually must be state-certified.
