About Good Standing Courses
We build online classes for people who have been told to take one — and want to get it done, get proof, and get back to their lives.
Why we started
Being told to take a class usually comes with a deadline, an officer waiting for paperwork, and the worry that the certificate won't count. Most online options we tried made that harder: a letter that arrives "within one business day," a timer that loses your progress, a certificate nobody can check.
So we built the class we'd want if it were us: proof of enrollment the minute you pay, a timer that's fair, a short video explainer in every lesson, and a certificate an officer can verify in seconds.
What the lessons are based on
Our Anger Management course follows the cognitive-behavioral model in SAMHSA's public anger management manual — warning signs, the anger meter and timeouts, changing angry thoughts, assertive communication and conflict resolution — and adds widely used skills like mindfulness, empathy and relapse planning. Impulse Control & Decision Making uses the same approach for urges and choices. Each lesson lists its sources (SAMHSA, APA, NIMH, CDC).
SAMHSA and the other organizations we cite do not endorse our courses.
What we will and won't say
- We say our classes are court-accepted in most jurisdictions — and that the decision belongs to your court or officer.
- We won't say a state or a court has approved our classes, because no state approves online classes like ours, and you deserve the truth before you pay.
- We say it's an educational course. We won't say it's therapy, because it isn't.
- We back it with your money: if your court doesn't accept your certificate, you get a full refund.
What we don't want to know
We don't ask for your case number, your court, your date of birth, or what happened. If your court needs those on the certificate, you type them into your own copy. It's the least data we can collect and still issue you a certificate.
